The “Beach Barn”, long a shopping tradition on the Cape, has been known for it’s large assortment of swimwear. Now, upon entering the store, a unique post and beam building on historic Route 6A in Dennis, you’ll see jewelry, accessories, hats, sandals, and a vast array of resort clothing for summer fun.

Ed and Carol Keogh, with over 40 years of retail experience each, have operated the business SINCE 1994 and have watched it evolve from being a “beach-supply” store to offering the customer a wonderful selection of clothing and accessories. The major brands evolving are “Fresh Produce”, “FOCUS”, “Habitat”, “Tribal”, and many others. “Each season we seek new resources at several trade shows to keep the assortment unique”, say Carol and Ed. “Our challenge was to change the product assortment in the Beach Barn in order to make the store, not only, a destination for swimwear, but also to offer a vast assortment of real RESORTWEAR”says Carol. This was done without compromising quality.

“Our strength in swimwear is still the overwhelming amount of styles and sizes offered ; such as BEACH HOUSE, Speedo, Anne Cole, TOMMY BAHAMA, RALPH LAUREN, Raisins, Miraclesuit, MAXINE, Seawaves,CALVIN KLEIN, It Figures,CEEB, and many more”, says Carol. WE’VE ADDED A NEW MISSY MIX AND MATCH DEPARTMENT TO OUR SWIMWEAR SELECTION.“We take pride in fitting most sizes , taking the time with our customers,and offering suggestions. The second floor of the building belongs to our ladies’ and girls’ swimwear customer…. they feel at home there.”

“We are a one-stop, specialized spot for resort-vacation wear”,adds Carol, “ with one of the largest swimwear collections in the area.” The “Beach Barn” has been a tradition for our local customers, with daughters bringing their daughters back year after year.
